Langdon and Jon may not show up to things on time, but when they do you forget all about having been waiting. These are two of the most compassionate people, with fully contagious smiles and great passion for life. The Kualoa Ranch Wedding Kaneohe Hawaii was perfect for a long awaited union.

I shot this wedding without Keith, and was particularly honored as Langdon and John chose all their vendors with personality in mind. John was in the Philippines with the military when he met Langdon who was there in part to forget a broken heart.

Life led them to separate parts of the world, but they kept in touch. Some would say it was fate that they both landed in Hawaii. I’d call it perfection.

Langdon is that friend you call when life gets a bit rough. She’s strong, caring and I can say this all with confidence as she drove by me one day as I was walking. I was having a bit of an emotional day and she could tell, so quickly parked and ran out to give me a hug right on the sidewalk in front of Whole Foods.

I’d like to say it’s because of our shared New Jersey ties, but really Langdon is just that kind of a person, so it’s no wonder John fell in love with her. It only took one weekend of living in Hawaii for their romance to flourish (as you can read about in their engagement blog.)

John’s love of restoring motorcycles and rare whiskeys incorporated a fun vintage style to their day, filling the garden area with nostalgia and elegance.

Oh, and a pretty epic whiskey table which drew quite a crowd!

The party got under way in the pavilion with Langdon’s NJ family tearing up the dance floor and crowds mingling. The evening rolled in and brought an unexpected surprise for guests, a Hawaiian fire dance performance!

Congrats to a beautiful couple whose love extends beyond the Ko’olau Mountains! Blessings for many more wonderful days!
